Professor Donatella Della Porta is currently teaching a brief course for the Ferrater Mora Chair on Contemporary Thought at the Universitat de Girona. This course which “has basic objective of organizing contemporary courses of thought led by eminent thinkers of internationally renowned prestige. It is a chair of thought – not strictly philosophy – because it is open to the interdisciplinary teaching of personalities from different fields”.

Edgar Morin, Agnés Varda, Zygmunt Bauman, David Harvey, Judith Butler, Eric Hobsbawn among those who have previously been teaching at the Ferrater Mora Chair.
