Katarína is a PhD. Student in Transnational Governance at the Scuola Normale Superiore in Florence. Katarína particularly interested in fields such as European affairs, work organization or social dialogue initiatives.
Katarína has previous experience in researching industrial relations at Central European Labour Studies Institute, where she was focused on processing policy briefs and quantitative measurement of the most frequent topics discussed in European social dialogue (under European Commission EESDA VS/2017/0434). She holds a Master Degree in Economic Diplomacy at University of Economics in Bratislava. In her master thesis she analysed the Values of Europeans and their relation to the European Single Market, with deeper focus on Labour as significant value.
Her current research aims to explore the influence of technological innovations on the changes in governance and policy-making through social partners’ initiatives and policy-makers’ strategies in Visegrad countries. Particularly, the focus is on the role of governance in terms of the welfare policies, such as pension policies and employment policies.
