Rosa Burç is a PhD candidate in Political Science and Sociology at the Scuola Normale Superiore and member of the Center of Social Movement Studies (COSMOS). Her research focuses on the conceptualization of radical democracy put forward by the Kurdish movement in the Middle East and the movement’s attempt at reassembling the nation-states of Turkey, Iraq and Syria. She holds an undergraduate degree in Political Science and Sociology (University of Bonn) and a M.Sc. in International Politics from SOAS, University of London.
