Louisa Parks is a lecturer at the School of Political and Social Sciences at the University of Lincoln, UK. She completed her PhD, a study on the impacts of social movement campaigns at the European Union level, in early 2009 under the supervision of Prof. Donatella della Porta. Louisa has also worked on the Subterranean Politics in Europe project focusing on protest in Italy under the financial crisis in 2011, as a parliamentary researcher in the European Parliament, and as an academic editor and translator. She has published work on accountability in the EU, protest in the EU, tracing the impacts of transnational movements, protest in Italy in 2011, and (forthcoming) framing in the climate movement.
