Federica Stagni is a PhD candidate in Political Science and Sociology at Scuola Normale Superiore. Her research interests are Theories of Political Protests and Social Movements in the MENA region. Federica holds a Bachelor’s degree in International and Diplomatic Sciences at the University of Bologna and a Master’s degree in European and International Studies at the School of International Studies of Trento. She worked as research associate for ACLED and studied at the University of Lisbon and the University of Portsmouth as an exchange student.
Research interests: social movements, MENA region, social network analysis, Islam and democracy, and organizational mediation theory of protest
