Mayo Fuster Morell

Mayo Fuster Morell concluded her PhD thesis entitle “Governance of online creation communities. Provision of infrastructure for the building of digital commons” at the European University Institute in 2010. She is currently a fellow at the Berkman center for Internet and society (Harvard University), and a researcher at the Institute of Government and Public Policies (Autonomous University of Barcelona). Additionally, she is member of the research committee of the Wikimedia Foundation. She develops research in the field of social movements (Global Justice Movement, Free Culture Movement and “15M/Indignados” in Spain), online collaborative communities, and, Internet and public policies. She combines qualitative and quantitative methods of research, and is specialized on digital methods and action-participation methodologies.
