Picture description
Andrea Pirro has been recently appointed as new editor of the journal East European Politics (Taylor and Francis).

East European Politics is a refereed journal which publishes articles in the government, politics and international relations of the post-communist space. In geographical terms, EEP covers the entire post-communist region, including East Central and South Eastern Europe, Russia and all the other countries of the former Soviet Union.

In the quality of new editor, Andrea wishes to attract a growing number of fresh and innovative submissions from colleagues focusing on far-right, far-left, and populist politics; Euroscepticism; democracy, democratisation, and democratic backsliding; social movements and participation; and political parties and elections in the region (and beyond—comparatively). Andrea also points out that the journal “wants to put groundbreaking and thought-provoking work on the map, and further turn into a point of reference for scholars with similar research interests.”
